Venediktova predicted "some outcome" in Sheremet case in two months
“One can see an end” in the criminal proceedings over the murder of journalist Pavel Sheremet , as the Prosecutor General Iryna Venediktova said interviewed by Ukraynska Pravda.
"I guess the end is visible. And these two months, which were given extra (extended terms of pre-trial investigation. - Ed. ) ... I suppose we will see some outcome in two months. Notwithstanding do you like it or not. But it will be the result anyway, "- Venediktova said.
She believes a large-scale briefing on the investigation into Sheremet's murder should not have been held.
