NRC: Russia deploys more priests to the occupied territories
Russia has deployed another group of priests of the Russian Church to Ukraine's occupied territory, reports the National Resistance Center.
The Ukrainian underground resistance notes that priests affiliated with the FSB were sent to work in hospitals and provide "support" to the wounded occupiers.
"In reality, they will be persuading Russian soldiers to go back to the battlefield. Also, they will also hold church services for the locals, campaigning for supporting the war and shift the blame for it to the victim – Ukraine," the NRC remarks.
As IMI reported, the Security Service of Ukraine issued a suspicion notice for high treason to a pastor working for the Russian FSB who recruited his sons to spy on UAF units.
The Vinnytsia Court of Appeal upheld the ruling of the Vinnytsia District Court, which sentenced a UOC MP priest to two years in prison for promoting anti-Ukraine content and denying Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine.
