Zelensky: 50 thousand books burned in the Russian strike on Kharkiv
50,000 books were burned in the destroyed printing house as a result of the May 23 Russian strike on Kharkiv, reports President Volodymyr Zelensky on Telegram.
He says Russia is at war with humanity and all aspects of normal life. "Russian terrorists are killing adults and children, ruining cities and villages, leaving scorched land where once there was normal life," the President notes.

Zelensky added that the Russian terror must be defeated, and only one thing is needed for this is sufficient determination on the part of world leaders.
"Sufficient anti-aircraft defense for Ukrainian cities and regions, sufficient long-range fire capabilities for our soldiers, sufficiently bold political decisions," said the head of state.
On May 23, Russian troops targeted the printing house Vivat in Kharkiv, killing and wounding multiple people. There were casualties. Six civilians were killed and 16 were injured in the attack.
According to Oleksandr Filchakov, the head of the Kharkiv Oblast Prosecutor's Office, there were over 50 people in the building at the moment of the strike. The blasts caused a large-scale fire. All victims are employees of the printing house.
