The Volyn Oblast Council plans to resume online livestreams of their plenary sessions after the martial law is lifted, as per the Oblast Council's reply to a query by the Institute of Mass Information representative in Volyn oblast.

The Oblast Council reminded that online livestreams of plenary sessions have been temporarily suspended when martial law was introduced in Ukraine.

However, they added, the sessions and meeting of the permanent and competition commissions are recorded on video. The videos are posted on the Oblast Council's official resources, such as the website, the Council's Facebook page and YouTube channel, on the day of the session or commission meeting, taking into account the time it takes to process the material and post it.

The Volyn Oblast Council 8th convocation regulations on the website state that the executive apparatus must release the plans and agendas of open meetings on the official website in advance.

On September 10, the Kropyvnytskyi City Council deputies supported the draft bill to resume the mandatory livestreams of the council and permanent commission meetings.

The Kropyvnytskyi City Council had decided to stop livestreaming their sessions this May. Back then, the decision was explained by the amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On Local Self-Government in Ukraine" adopted at that time.
