Two propagandists with Crimean pro-Kremlin TV channel "Millet" notified of suspicion
Prosecutors have issued suspicion notice to the propagandists with the Russian TV channel "Millet" (speaks in the occupied Crimea) for calls to change the Ukraine's borders and spreading hostile propaganda, reports the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol city.
According to the investigators, one of the suspects hosted a news program on "Millet" in 2016, in particular, some episodes about "sabotage operations by Ukraine's special forces", "the oppression of Crimean Muslims by Ukraine", "the fight against terrorism", etc.

The other propagandist hosted a political talk show on "Millet" in 2017, featuring pro-Russian public figures and representatives of the occupation authorities.
In these propaganda programs, which were later streamed on the "Millet" channels in YouTube and Rutube, the suspects repeatedly called for changes in Ukraine's state borders, the investigation notes.
The TV hosts' actions were classified under Part 2 of Article 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (trespassing against the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine). The article provides for a penalty of up to 10 years in prison with seizure of property.
In February 2024, the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol city notified the "Millet" propagandist Ayshe Shulakova of suspicion for collaborationism and justifying Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine. In April 2024, the Prosecutor's Office submitted an indictment against Aysha Shulakova to court.
