SBU confirms that cameraman and soldier Vasyl Filimon is a POW

The Security Service of Ukraine confirmed that Vasyl Filimon, a Suspilne cameraman and a soldier, is still on the list of POWs. The department did not provide any more details information about Vasyl's whereabouts and his wellbeing, reports "Detector Media".

As reported by IMI, May 15, 2022, a cameraman for Suspilne Broadcaster's Mykolaiv branch, Vasyl Filimon, who had been drafted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine, was taken prisoner by the Russian occupying forces while performing a combat mission in Donetsk oblast. Vasyl Filimon was drafted into the Armed Forces on February 24, 2022, the first day of russia's full-scale offensive.
