The Russian special services have started blocking Google services in the temporarily occupied part of Donetsk oblast completely.

Petro Andryushchenko, adviser to the Mariupol Mayor, reported this on Telegram.

"So long, Google. The FSB has started blocking Google services completely in Mariupol and the entire occupied part of Donetsk oblast. Zoom has also been disabled," he wrote.

At the same time, Andryushchenko added, Google services can still be used, but only with a VPN.

As IMI reported, in early February, illegal mobile operator Lugacom, which operates in the occupied part of Luhansk oblast on equipment stolen from Ukrainian operators, announced they were blocking mobile Internet services.
