The TV crew for Pryamiy TV channel was denied accreditation to the meeting with the the head of state. This was reported on the channel's website.

As the correspondent of Pryamy Valentyna Milko said, on October 5 at 1 pm in the Mariinsky Park in Kyiv the official meeting of the President Volodymyr Zelensky and the President of Israel Yitzhak Herzog began. The latter arrived in Ukraine this morning to mark the 80th anniversary of the Babyn Yar tragedy.

“At the beginning of the meeting, we received a letter denying accreditation without giving any reasons. We were not on the lists, the guards, of course, did not let us into the palace (Mariinsky. - Ed. ), "- said the journalist.

The correspondent added that the only information she managed to find on the presidential website was a report on the participation of no more than 50 media representatives in public events to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in Ukraine.

However, according to TV channel, the members of the TV crew respected the rules of epidemic safety and are vaccinated.

The President's Office told Detector Media  that the denial of accreditation was due to the limited number of seats in the press room.

As IMI reported, on September 1, Pryamy TV reported that its journalists did not have access to the events organized by the Presidential Office in USA. At the same time, they could attend all the events with the participation of the US government.

As IMI reported, on August 30, Pryamiy TV channel was denied access to the information about the meeting of the Presidents of Ukraine and the United States Volodymyr Zelensky and Joe Biden in Washington. Kateryna Lisunova, a special correspondent for Pryamy TV reported it from the United States on 30 of August, .

On August 22, the Pryamiy TV channel reported that their journalists had been denied accreditation for events with the participation of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and Federal Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel.

As IMI reported, on August 30, Hromadske claimed that they had not been accredited for the meeting in Washington of the Presidents of Ukraine and the United States Volodymyr Zelensky and Joe Biden. A spokesman for the President of Ukraine, Serhiy Nikiforov, said that the situation was due to a "small quota" set aside by the White House for the media.
