Owner of Halychyna media holding changed
Halychyna TV and Radio Company holding came under the management of Mist TV and Radio Company, which is owned by Ihor Shumylo. This was reported on December 14 by Galnet, which is part of the media holding.
The media holding includes the FM Halychyna radio station, the Galnet news publication and the Media House educational platform.
Igor Shumylo assured that the change of owner would not affect the content of these media.
“Despite the fact that the media has got another owner, it will not affect the content and principles advocated by the media. Galnet will continue to cover impartially the hot topic news of Lviv and Lviv region. And FM Halychyna radio will promote all Ukrainian and delight its loyal listeners with quality music. We plan to provide an action field for media development and expansion in the western region, so expect new interesting projects from the team, ”said Ihor Shumylo.
Igor Shumylo noted that in the near future the team would work to improve the quality of feedback with the audience of the publication and radio. And he assured that the actual team would remain without change.
It should be added that before that the founder of Halychyna TV and Radio Company was Energia Consulting Limited Liability Company. And the ultimate beneficial owners are the children of politicians and businessmen of the Dubnevych brothers : Yuriy Dubnevych, Pavlo Dubnevych and Roksolana Pyrtko.
Radio "FM" Halychyna "is the largest regional radio network in Western Ukraine, covering 14 frequencies in Lviv, Volyn, Ternopil, Rivne regions.
