13.09.2021, 15:42

From now on, any information about the amount of earning, remuneration of director, deputy director of any legal entities, national entreprise, governmental entity aiming to realize profit is to be considered as public one and shall be transparent. The MPs have adopted a law as it stands amending some legislative acts which will ensure transparence of information on the amount of remuneration in state-owned companies (registration number 3952 ).

This law was supported by the parliament on September 8, according to the website of the Center for Democracy and the Rule of Law.

The draft law amends the provisions of the Laws “On Access to Public Information” and “On Personal Data Protection”, expanding the list of administrators and determining the scope of information to be disclosed by these entities.

In particular, the authors of the project proposed to ensure transparence of information on the structure, principles of formation and amount of remuneration, premium, fringe benefits of the director, deputy director of any legal entity, state enterprise or state organization aiming to realize profits, a person who permanently or temporarily holds the position of a member of the executive body or is a member of the supervisory board of a business company, in the authorized capital of which more than 50% of shares (shares, units) directly or indirectly belong to the state and / or territorial community.

These legal entities are to be included to the list of administrators of public information, and the relevant information shall not be attributed to information with limited access.
