The MP from OPFL Ilya Kyva impeded the journalist for Hromadske Victoria Roshchyna from video streaming outside the courthouse, where the judge decide on the pre-trial detention measure for the party leader Viktor Medvedchuk. The MP Illya Kyva used bad language speaking about the journalist Bohdan Kutepov, as “Detektor Media” reported.

In particular, Illya Kyva compulsively asked the journalist, who was making a live broadcast, whether "Kutepov had consulted a psychiatrist," and called the journalist "crazy."

Besides that, some unknown individuals wearing black clothes made a human chain at the entrance to the courthouse and prevented the journalists from filming and barred access to the court building. Law enforcement officers who stood there did not react to Kyva and unknown people, who hindered the journalist from working.

As IMI reported, on May 13, an unknown man blocked a correspondent for “Bukva” edition and used physical force, squeezing his throat, near the Pechersk District Court in Kyiv, where the judge was to decide on measure of restraint for Viktor Medvedchuk, an MP from the “Opposition Platform for Life”.
