In Brody, priest and his parishioners aggressively pushed NTA journalists from the church

On February 18, in the city of Brody (Lvivska oblast), the senior priest of Moscow Patriarchy together with his parishioners had a stand-off with the filming crew of the TV channel "NTA" (Program "The Truth. Investigations"). The parishioners and the priest were obstructing the work of the journalists and aggressively attacking the filming crew. This information was released in the story of the channel. The incident took place on the territory of Moscow Patriarchy church. The journalist and project administrator Kateryna Shyrokopoyas and cameraman Vitaliy Kulekha prepared materials about the activities of Moscow Patriarchy in Lviv region and legality of use of the land plot for the need of the parish in Brody. According to the information of the journalists, the church and the house of the priest were build without obtaining any relevant documents. “Yet the enraged parishioners, together with the priest and his wife, pushed the filming crew from the territory of the church. They tried to block the camera, and even were brandishing a spade”, the story of the channel quotes. The TV channel filed a complaint about the crime, an obstruction, to the police.
