Ukraїner Po Polsku producer Natalya Panchenko reported in a Facebook post that she had become a target of disinformation and deepfakes impersonating her.
Panchenko says she has observed multiple fabricated videos where artificial intelligence “impersonates” her voice to utter offensive statements about Poles online in recent days.
“There has been a surge in fabricated deepfakes where artificial intelligence ‘impersonates my voice’ and puts hateful words about Poles into my mouth. This is absolutely NOT me!” she stressed.

She added that collages featuring her photos and fake quotes about arson and other absurd statements are being shared online as well.
The journalist stressed that she had never threatened Poles or called for arson. She called on social media users to be vigilant, report such fakes and explain to their friends that this is not true.
Panchenko reminded her readers that “her actions speak for her”: namely, she organized the March of Gratitude to Poles from Ukrainians, which was attended by 20 thousand people, as well as the annual Polish-Ukrainian Forum of the Future. She has been working to facilitate dialogue between Ukrainians and Poles for many years.
“Making me an enemy of Poland only benefits one side — Russia,” Panchenko stressed.
