The challenges for Ukraine are hybrid wars, and global misinformation – new head of military intelligence

Ukraine now faces challenges like increased influence of hybrid wars, global misinformation and enemy on the territory of the country.

These were the points voiced on August 10 by the newly assigned head of Chief Administration of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense Kyrylo Budanov after he was presented by the President, web-site of the President of Ukraine informs.

“Today, the military intelligence of Ukraine faces the following objectives. They are: increased influence of intelligence in the sphere of international relations, returning the temporarily occupied territories of Donbas and of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, and bringing to justice the people who brought war to our Homeland”, he said.

Kyrylo Budanov sets an objective of improving professional level of employees, introducing new technologies, improving analytical work to forecast risks and take special measures.
