Suspilne Kherson cameraman Volodymyr Chepynoha wounded near Kherson (updated)
Suspilne Kherson cameraman Volodymyr Chepynoha was injured in a Russian drone strike in the suburbs of Kherson on March 4, at approximately 19:45, Suspilne Kherson manager Mykhailo Svarychevckyi reported on Facebook.
He said the cameraman has a fractured leg, shrapnel wounds to the pelvis and both legs, burns to the hands, and a concussion.
“As of today, Volodymyr has undergone surgery, his condition is stable. Next is rehabilitation,” said Mykhailo Svarychevckyi.
He thanked the police for their prompt response and assistance in evacuating his colleague, and the doctors for their qualified aid.
Mykhailo Svarychevckyi stressed that Volodymyr Chepynoha’s treatment and further rehabilitation require financial support and posted Volodymyr’s bank details for donations:

Update. According Serhiy Nikitenko, the Institute of Mass Information representative in Kherson oblast, the cameraman was injured in his own house in Antonivka village by an explosive device dropped from a drone. The village is in the red zone under constant shelling.
The explosion damaged the cameraman's house as well.
In January 2025, Russians attacked a car carrying the filming crew of the YouTube project Ukrainian Witness (Marharyta Potapova, Oleksandr Davydenko) with drones.
