Russians start training propagandists in Luhansk oblast – NRC
The Russian occupiers have allocated 1,200,000 rubles for "journalist training" of the youth in the temporarily occupied parts of Luhansk oblast.
This was reported by the National Resistance Center.
"According to the plan, a media zone will operate in Alchevsk, funded by grants from the administration of the Russian President, i.e. Vladimir Putin. At that media zone, teenagers are to be taught the 'basics of journalism', with the learning period coming to an end on November 30," the NRC notes.
They noted that this is probably the occupiers searching for local young people ready to promote Russian narratives, because currently most propagandists at the "local media" in the occupied territories had arrived there from Russia.
As IMI reported, Kyrylo Vyshinsky, a propagandist accused of treason by Ukraine, has illegally arrived in occupied Luhansk. This was reported by the press office of the Luhansk Academy of Culture and Arts, which operates in the occupied city and did not evacuate in 2014.
It was noted that Vyshinsky "spoke in detail about his experiences working in the Ukrainian and Russian mass media, and gave the listeners several recommendations on media hygiene."
