Russian strike on Sumy interrupts live report by TSN
The crew of the TSN's 1+1 had to halt a live report to the Sumy studio due to a Russian shelling strike on the city, TSN reported in a Telegram post on June 4.
Reporting live near a hospital, correspondent Oksana Solodovnyk talked about the state of victims of the June 3 strike on the city by Russian troops. As the journalist started talking, another strike began, but she continued the broadcast.
Then, due to the danger to the crew, the report had to be interrupted. “Excuse us, we have to go to a shelter,” said Oksana Solodovnyk.
On June 3, the Russian troops shelled Sumy city, killing four people and injuring almost 30 others.
Pavlo Zarva, war correspondent with the regional media outlet Kordon.Media, provided assistance to the wounded in the Russian strike on Sumy on June 3.
