PO leaves Censor.NET without a response on accreditation for the President's press conference – Butusov
Censor.Net did not receive a response from the President's Office regarding accreditation for Volodymyr Zelensky's upcoming press conference.
The media outlet's editor-in-chief, Yuriy Butusov, reported this on Facebook.
"It is obvious that, first of all, Mr. Zelensky is afraid to answer questions that were not prepared in advance and to which he was not given pre-written answers. Secondly, Mr. Zelensky is afraid to take responsibility before the people of Ukraine," Butusov wrote.
He added that he would look for other opportunities to "make Zelensky answer for his actions."
The Institute of Mass Information has written to the President's Office asking for a comment.
As reported by IMI, a press conference with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, is scheduled for today, December 19.
Meanwhile, several anonymous Telegram channels have said they have been accredited to attend the press conference.
Volodymyr Zelensky's last press conference took place on February 24, 2023. Then some journalists reported that they were denied accreditation for the press conference. In particular, the Censor.NET editor-in-chief Yuriy Butusov and BIHUS.Info editor Maksym Opanasenko received the following message: "Accreditation has been denied due to the limited number of seats and extra security measures."
