Kherson's collaborationist channel VTV+ begins broadcasting via russian satellite
Kherson TV channel "VTV+" began broadcasting via a russian satellite. This is another confirmation of the channel's cooperation with the russian invaders. This was reported by the National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting.
The regulator notes that they have already recorded acts of collaboration on the part of VTV+ before and informed the Security Service of Ukraine about the uncovered facts.
After completing all monitoring procedures, the National Council will provide information to the National Security and Defense Council in order to impose sanctions on the licensee in accordance with the law.
The regulator reminds that VTV+ has cooperated with the occupiers and collaborators, and is therefore using its programs to spread propaganda, manipulative and false information.
"The Ukrainian media regulator records all attempts at collaboration in the information space and urges residents of the temporarily occupied territories to be critical of the content of such TV channels, not to believe the information they spread, with which they will try to discredit the Ukrainian government and weaken our struggle against the occupier."
The National Council also calls on licensees who find themselves in the temporarily occupied territories to immediately report cases of pressure or seizure of media offices, equipment, transmitters, and any critical and coercive actions against company personnel the regulator.
In addition, the National Council once again appeals to the Verkhovna Rada to enable them to revoke the licenses of collaborating companies at its own discretion through a simplified inspection procedure.
As IMI reported, the National Television and Radio Broadcasting Service has informed the SBU that the Kherson TV channel VTV Plus had started cooperating with the aggressor state's accomplices and collaborators.
The National Council also asks to enable them to revoke the licenses of collaborating companies at its discretion through a simplified procedure.
