The occupiers are throwing away books from the Pryazovsky State University library. They will be destroyed later.

This was reported by the press service of the Mariupol City Council.

"It was just like what the Nazis did – back when the Germans occupied the city during the Second World War. The Russians turned out to be good students of theirs. Ban, destroy and ruin – this is how they do things. Everything to destroy another culture and its intellectual achievements. History repeats itself, but now the Russians are the occupiers," the press service noted.

As reported by IMI, a local journalist in Mariupol sided with the occupiers.
