Journalist Tkach complained to the prosecutor's office about inaction of the police

12.08.2020, 00:53

Investigative journalist of the program "Skhemy” Mykhailo Tkach filed a complaint about inaction of investigators of the National Police of Ukraine, who started a criminal proceeding after on August 8 he informed about the indications that a surveillance device was installed in his home.

This information comes from the attorney of the journalist, Anatoliy Popov, who filed the complaint to the Kyiv city Prosecutor's Office No. 10 on his behalf on August 11, РRadio Liberty informs.

The attorney says that the investigators failed to verify the evidence properly and did not guard the site to make sure that the evidence was not destroyed. Also, on August 10 the investigator in charge of the case stopped accepting the attorney's calls.

On August 9, “Skhemy” reported that the police found three holes in the ceiling of the house where journalist Mykhailo Tkach resides.
