02.10.2017, 16:34
On September 30 in Zaporizhzhia, during the Festival of Equality, the journalist of “Hromadske.Zaporizhzhia” Kateryna Markova received threats to smash her camera from masked young men who were protesting against the festival. The journalist reported this to the local IMI representative. The young men gathered near the place where exhibition, a part of the Festival, was planned. Some of them were yelling to the journalist "Do not film!", "You do it and you lose your camera!". When asked about their intentions, they answered that they will "beat the f*ggots". After the men used tear gas, the police pushed them away from the site. In total, 7 to 17 men were detained, based on different sources. The criminal case opened against them is based on criminal code article "hooligansim".
