Japan supply Ukraine's Public Broadcasting with equipment

Japan is ready to give Ukraine technical equipment to develop Public broadcasting. His Excellency Sum Shiheki, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Ukraine, informed about this Yuriy Stets, Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine, on January 17, Information Portal says.

"After consideration of your appeal, we decided to provide your country with technical equipment for the development of Public broadcasting of Ukraine", - the ambassador said.

According to His Excellency Sum Shiheki, the program will last 2.5 years and group of experts from Japan will arrive  to Ukraine under the program, starting this month. They will teach specialist of Public, how to communicate important information to citizens during emergencies.

Japanese experts also plan to share their experience in creating educational TV programs with employees of Public channel.
His Excellency Sum Shiheki, Ambassador of Japan to Ukraine, also said that they founf an opportunity to introduce a Japanese version of "Ukrinform" Ukrainian National Information Agency website. It would become one of the way of access to information about Ukraine to Japanese.

Yuri Stets, Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine said that the Ministry strongly encourage coverage of information about the culture and values of the Japanese in Ukraine. Besides Year 2017 declared as the Year of Japan in Ukraine.
