Homes of Yampil.INFO journalists damaged by Russian aerial bombs
The homes of Yampil.INFO journalists Serhiy Odarchenko and Hanna Tomina (Yampil, Sumy oblast) were damaged as a result of Russian shelling, the media outlet's chief editor Oleksandr Solomko reports to the regional representative of the Institute of Mass Information.
This happened on September 12 and 13, when the Russian troops carried out a series of guided aerial bomb strikes on Yampil.
According to the editor, one of the shells exploded 50 meters away from the building where journalist Serhiy Odarchenko lives, blowing out the windows in his apartment. Serhiy and his wife had to leave their home and village due to the danger.
The apartment of correspondent Hanna Tomina, whose house was damaged in a strike on an industrial facility, was also damaged. Hanna and her daughter moved due to the threat of repeated strikes.
Yampil is located within 20 kilometers from the border. Recently Russian troops have been mostly dropping anti-aircraft missiles on the village's residential blocks. In the last two weeks alone, over a dozen people in Yampil have been killed or injured, reports Kordon.Media.
