Grant program announced in support of civil society initiatives and media in counteraction to corruption

Program “Support of leader organizations in counteraction to corruption in Ukraine “VzayemoDiya!” ("InterAction!") announces a grant program in support of the initiatives of the civil society and mass media in the sphere of counteraction to corruption. This was reported at the website of GURT.

The program provides for applications for implementing projects which mobilize society for prevention of corruption, development of analytical materials concerning the mechanism of raising awareness and nurturing values for prevention of corruption, promote emergence of coalitions around the common issues, which are able to perform advocacy for effective anti-corruption measures on national and sub-national levels, and to effectively propagate anti-corruption messages in the target communities. 

The project must not last longer than 12 months. The project “InterAction!” reserves the right to finance the proposed projects in full, or gradually.

Organizations eligible for filing applications are Ukrainian non-profit organizations of civil society (civil associations, volunteer organizations, charity funds, analytical centers, scientific institutions, and also, information agencies). The organizations that are registered in Sumska and Lvivska oblasts, are especially welcome to participate.

Total amount of the grant under this proposal for organization(s) (or consortium of organizations) will be amount in hryvnias, equivalent to value of 10 000 to 150 000 United States dollars. 

No deadline for filing concepts is set. Concepts will be accepted as they are filed. Applicants will receive response about their concepts within 30 days since the day of application. Telephone calls are not accepted.

Concepts must be in Ukrainian or in English using the form. Volume of technical approach for the concept must not exceed 5 pages. The form for a concept can also be received by e-mail, sending a request to: [email protected].
