District administrative court opened case based on claim of "Priamyi" to the National Council

The district administrative court of Kyiv city opened proceeding in the case under the claim of LLC “TV channel “Priamyi” to the National Council of Ukraine for TV and radio broadcasting due to an unscheduled inspection assigned for the channel.

This was reported at the website of the District Administrative court of Kyiv city.

The court approved consideration of the case based on the rules of simplified claim proceeding, without summoning the parties. 

The court pointed out that the claimant requests the court to declare unlawful, and to cancel the resolution of the National Council as of January 9, 2020, which assigns unscheduled inspection visit for the TV channel “Priamyi”.

As IMI reported before, on January 9, 2020, the National Council of Ukraine for TV and Radio broadcasting assigned an unscheduled inspection of the TV channel “Priamyi” because of the words of the anchor of the TV channel “Priamyi” Serhiy Poyarkov about the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.
