19.08.2017, 16:07
On August 17, the Ukrainian Crimean Tatar “Radio “Hayat” started broadcasting in the mainland Ukraine, In Kakhovskyi rayon, Khersonska oblast, at frequencyFM 103.5, “Hromadske radio” reports. The radio plans later to broadcast for Crimea. The word “hayat” mean "life". “This name was chosen because we are Crimeans, Crimean journalists and we are now homeless. And when the enemy comes to your home, you have to leave what is precious for you, and the only thing that you need to do is live. The radio is based on the philosophy of living: in spite of every obstacle, we have to live, develop, and raise our children. Under this motto, we will continue working”, director of the radio "Hayat" Hayana Yuksel said said . According to her, in the nearest time the radio will organize publication of its news at the website of information agency “Krymski Novyny” ("Crimean News"). Also, the news will be published in the Facebook and at YouTube channel. “We do everything possible to make us heard not only where we have allocated frequencies, but also in Kyiv, and in Crimea, at any point of the Earth. Wehave plans to start a studio in Ankara to invite our compatriots who live there. In Turkey, we have a very large diaspora of Crimean Tatars who support us”, Yuksel added. Hromadske radio will provide support to the Crimean Tatar radio in large-scale programs.
