Bihus.Info say unknown persons are posing as them to send out requests to state bodies
Journalist investigation project "Bihus.Info" reports that unknown persons are posing as its editors to send out requests to state bodies.
"We are contacting press offices and staff of public information access offices. Bihus.Info editors have learned that recently, state bodies have been receiving information requests allegedly from us, which our journalists did not actually send," the message reads.
To confirm a request's authenticity, the editors ask to promptly contact Bihus.Info editors: Alisa Yurchenko 068-710-55-46, Maksym Opanasenko 097-604-91-49.
As IMI reported, in August, Ukrainska Pravda editor-in-chief Sevgil Musaieva stated that some scammers were sending requests to State Customs Service and State Border Guard Service officials, posing as the editorial team.
In July, RBC-Ukraine said that some scammers were posing as their editorial office to advertise a survey with which RBC-Ukraine has nothing to do on social media.
