RBC-Ukraine media outlet reports some criminals are posing as their editorial office to advertise a survey, with which RBC-Ukraine has nothing to do, on social media.

"The scammers cloned the RBC-Ukraine hme page, encouraging social media users to take part in a poll. Moreover, the criminals ask for the users' personal details, probably for the purpose of further fraud. Under no circumstances do not take part in such 'surveys,'" the editorial office says.

The publication declares that neither the editors of RBC-Ukraine nor the Ukrainian authorities are conducting any such polls, the purpose of which is clearly discreditation and manipulation of public opinion.

RBC-Ukraine has already contacted the National Police, the Security Service of Ukraine, and the Ministry of Digital Transformation regarding this issue.

"The publication is counting on the support of state authorities in blocking the 'Vilny Narod' page on Facebook and the website www.rbk.kiev.ua, which has nothing to do with the editorial staff of RBC-Ukraine and constitutes copyright infringement," the message says.
