Bellingcat to investigate circumstances of Shyshov’s death
The investigative journalism website Bellingcat will investigate the circumstances of the death of Vitaliy Shyshov, the head of the “Belarusian House in Ukraine”, who was found hanged in a park in Kyiv.
Investigative journalist Christo Grozev said it on the air of the Russian radio station Echo of Moscow
Bellingcat supposed that the death of Vitaly Shyshov could be a special operation of special services. Grozev has no doubts that this was not a suicide.
"Even without prior information, I would say this is not suicide. But I would not write it until we have a complete picture of events. We can suppose that this is a special operation, this is a fact. We have been working for several days on the information we have obtained that there are Russian FSB officers in Kyiv who have integrated the Belarusian opposition groups in Ukraine. Of course, this may be a coincidence. And now, we hear this news. This means that we are now devoting all our resources to investigating this murder, if it is a murder, ”as Christo Grozev said.
As IMI reported, on August 3, Vitaliy Shyshov, the head of the “Belarusian House in Ukraine”, who went missing on the morning of August 2, was found hanged in a park in Kyiv.
On August 3, the “Belarusian House in Ukraine” (BDU) claimed that its head, Vitaliy Shyshov, who was found hanged in Kyiv, was under surceillance and the police knew about it.
