Belarusian TV presenter fled to Ukraine after searches
Belarusian showman and TV presenter Denis Dudynsky and his wife Kateryna Rayetska have left the country after their home was searched. Rayetska wrote about this on her Instagram on June 9, as Gordon reported.
The journalist and his wife came to Kyiv. "On June 7, I would go to the cemetery to my father, who died exactly a year ago, but instead I put my whole life in a single suitcase and urgently left my house," she wrote.
As to Rayetska, they had to abandon everything, no phone, no computer, no working documents or bank cards, even without a farewell note.
"And without any plan ... Because in 29 years, at no time, I had no idea to quit the country ... Now I can't stay at home, but, I hope this is only question of time, "Rayetska wrote.
On June 2, financial police officers searched Dudynsky's home and took him and his wife for questioning. It was reported that they verified whether Dudynsky had paid all taxes.
Dudinsky was detained last fall. He was then charged with participating in an unauthorized event and placed under an administrative arrest for 10 days. According to Radio Svaboda, finally, he spent in custody 12 days without giving any reason.
