All prosecutors in Sheremet's case replaced
The Deputy Prosecutor General has changed the entire group of prosecutors within the case of the murder of journalist Pavlo Sheremet, as Yulia Kuzmenko's lawyer Taras Bezpaly said interviewed by Hromadske radio.
It happened on 20 May, day when the president Volodymyr Zelensky gave press conference.
According to the lawyer, the prosecutors rewrote the suspicion, since the evidences of the initial version were insufficient.
"On the day of Zelensky's press conference, the deputy prosecutor general changed the entire group of prosecutors. The next day, the group decided to amend the suspicion and a day later they decided to complete the pre-trial investigation. Nothing else but farce, what how I can call all this," Bezpaly said.
As IMI reported, on May 21, the charges pressed against suspected murderers of Pavel Sheremet have been amended. "They've removed 'ultranationalist ideas', 'greatness of the Aryan race', and other trash like that. Now it's 'unidentified persons, driven by personal motives, decided to create an extremely reverberating event aiming at further provoking massive protest', as the lawyer Leonid Maslov, whose firm Smysl Consulting represents one of the defendants, said.
On May 22, police completed an investigation into three suspects in murder of Sheremet.
Pavel Sheremet died in Kyiv on July 20, 2016 in a car blast.

But, their involvement in the murder of the journalist was to be verified, the same as involvement of other persons.
