The “Opposition platform –For life” goes on leading as to quantity of stories with signs of paid-for in web-based editions: one third from all materials with signs of paid-for was in favour of this politica force. In favour of Volodymyr Zelensky and Petro Poroshenko our experts identified 27% and 10% of stories with attributes of paid-for materials.
Such are the results of survey of political jeansa that the NGO “Institute of Mass Information” held from April 1st to 12, 2019 within 13 sought-after web-based editions, the complete sample was 30 thousands of news.*
In total during 12 days this survey was held our experts revealed 1414 materials with signs of being paid-for. Among them 37 materials were of improperly marked which is 9% from total number of paid-for materials.
No paid-for materials was identified on web-based editions “”Liga”, “Ukrayinska Pravda” and the 24th channel.
The most of stories with sings of being paid-for were identified on web-based editions of the 112th channel (69 materials), respectively 17% from the whole number ofpaid-for materials. The second position was shared by “Znay.ua” and NewsOne (64 stories with signs of paid-for materials or 15% each of them).
The web-sites of TSN and NV had only improperly marked materials (marked as PR and so on, while according to Ukrainian law, these materials had to be marked as “Advertisement” or “For publicity purposes”).
Also IMI experts identified 94 materials with signs of counter-propaganda, 71% from them concerned petro Poroshenko and 29% concerned Volodymyr Zelensky.
