In response to information request of the journalist Nestor Lipych about the amount of salaries and bonuses of Cherchenska village council employees (village in Kamin-Kashyrskyi rayon of Volynska oblast), the administration replied that the journalist by his publications «forms mistrust to the village council».
This was reported reported by «Dostup do pravdy» ("Access to truth").
The journalist wanted to know the amount of bonuses of the employees of the village council in 2015-2016, and resolutions of the village heads about assigning those bonuses.
«Right after they read the request, I hear in response: "What, you have nothing to do?!" And, of course, accusations against me: their printer cannot print even a note for the people, and I came there with my requests; that my publications in press form mistrust to the village council; that I act on assignment of Anatoliy Dzenik, who recently decided to sue the village council , and I gather information on his behalf », the journalist wrote in his Facebook entry in December of 2017.
According to Mr.Lipych, the secretary said that she «is able to provide this information for reading only»: «That's the thing: public information not accessible for public!»
The journalist was also charged for 1.3 thousand hryvnias for copying and printing documents that his request requires.
