Unvaccinated journalists in Mykolaiv to be banned from city council
In Mykolaiv, the officials and journalists will be allowed to the City Council building only bypresenting the certificate of vaccination or the negative PCR test for a coronavirus. This was the message of the Mayor of Mykolaiv Oleksander Senkevich who said it during the extended operational meeting on September 27, as Ukrinform reported.
“Dear colleagues, be prepared for the fact that you will need to present a vaccination certificate or a negative PCR test to get in, which is valid for three days. The same will apply to other people, including journalists who attend our events. It is the sanme for all levels, ”Senkevych said.
At the same time, he asked to raise the hands of those who have not yet been vaccinated. Some raised, including the media representatives.
During meeting they also said that for the last week, eight people died of consequences of a coronavirus disease in Mykolaiv. All of them were not vaccinated.
Currently, the percentage of vaccinated employees in the structural units of the city council averages 53. The best situation in educational and medical institutions is of 73-90%, the worst is in utilities, housing and communal services, architecture and capital construction, which is up to 30%.
In September, 27 351 386 people were vaccinated in the Mykolaiv region, among them for last days they were 905.
