Ukrainske Radio resumes broadcasting in de-occupied Vovchansk, Kharkiv oblast
Starting today, Ukrainske Radio resumes broadcasting in the de-occupied Vovchansk hromada (Kharkiv oblast) and the surrounding territories.
This was announced on October 7 by the head of Kharkiv RMA Oleh Syniehubov.
"In Balaklia, Kupyansk, and Izyum, the radio stations are currently being cleared of debris. After the power supply to the stations resumes, we will start the restoration," he wrote on Telegram.
He reminded that the occupiers realize the importance of information access, which is why the first thing they did in the occupied territories was to destroy the critical information infrastructure. You can listen to Ukrainske Radio in Vovchansk on 90.2 FM.
As IMI reported, earlier, Russia launched its own broadcasting under the call sign "Kharkov Z" in Vovchansk city and the Chuguyiv district (Kharkiv oblast) on frequencies 90.0–91.0 MHz.
