Two more journalists were attacked by the police near the Parliament

Two more journalists - Bohdan Kutepov from “Hromadske” and Vlad Krasynskyi from Insider, who were covering the events near the tent encampment near the Verkhovna Rada in the morning of March 3 in Kyiv, were victims of the actions of the police. According to Bohdan Kutepov's report in his facebook entry, on of the police officers pushed him with his leg and used foul language against him. “This specific “cosmonaut” in response to my introduction kicked me and said: “get the f... out, you freak …”, journalist wrote.   According to Insider, Vlad Krasinskyi reported in Facebook that police offcer used tear gas against him. “The cop sees me standing on sidewalk, my ID is hanging on me as a tag, I am holding my camera and my phone – “who are you, what are you doing here?”. Then he grabs his gas spray, pushes it into my face, and, as a result, he and his colleague just carried me over, pushed with their shields to the barricade. Serhiy Nuzhnenko got sprayed gas into face without any preludes”, he said. He registered the attack on his video, the episode in question starts at 7:48. In his comment for IMI, Bohdan Kutepov said that during the incident he was wearing orange vest marked with inscription “Press”, and was holding camera in his hands. He said the police officer did not have any identification marks on him. The journalist plans to file official complaint to the police based on article 171 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
