Two abducted Donetsk editors got released
Armed men released the editors-in-chief of the newspapers “Donbass” Oleksander Bryzh and “Vecherniy Donetsk” Leonid Lapa, whom they took yesterday at the barrel of a gun from the editorial offices to an undisclosed location. This information was confirmed by the press service of Donetsk Oblast State Administration and the son of the “Donbass”’ editor, Aretm Bryzh. Currently, Bryzh’s and Lapa’s cell phones are off. The gunmen’ demands are sill unknown.
One of the leaders of the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic, Myroslav Rudenko, explained the reasons for abduction by the fact that in the last two weeks these two newspapers published special issues funded by Rinat Akhmetov, in which on every page they tarnished Donetsk People’s Republic and the choice of the people. So, the separatists had questions to the editors of the media outlets that kept defacing the Republic from within.
