Transcarpathian police probe into arson case

Transcarpathian police reclassified the case of arson of the cars belonging to the journalist Pavlo Biletsky, now probing into the case of an intentional destroying or damaging of property of the journalist made by arson (Part 2 of Art. 347-1 of the Criminal code), as to the website of the Main Directorate of the Police in the Transcarpathian region.

A pre-trial investigation into the case is ongoing. Police are searching the perpetrators.

As IMI reported, on the night of December 5, two cars Subaru Forester and a Volkswagen Beetle belonging to a local journalist Pavlo Biletsky in Uzhhorod (Zakarpattia region) were destroyed by fire were burnt down.

The police opened the case of deliberate destruction or damage of another's property by arson.
