The journalist of "Radio Svoboda" was suspended because of supporting the annexation of Crimea

The directors of the Russian editorial office of «Radio Svoboda» suspended journalist Andriy Babytskiy, Russain BBC service informs.

The journalist was not fired, he was transferred to a different position in the corporation’s structure. In addition, he no longer occupies the office of the chief editor of the site «Echo Kavkaza», which is a part of «Radio Svoboda».

As BBC states, Andriy refused to comment on the reasons of such HR decisions. Yet, according to the information of the media outlet «Novaya Gazeta», it is due to public support of Russian armed forces in Crimea by the journalist.
