The court refused to cancel National Council notice given to "Radio Vesti"

16 February, 2017 - County Administrative Court of Kyiv refused to satisfy "Radio Vesti" (LLC "TRC" Wonderful World") lawsuit demanding to recognize as the illegal the decision of the National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting from November 24, 2016 and annul a decision on warning. It is reported by "Media Detector" referring to the press service of the National Council.

There is no decision in the Unified state register of court decisions yet.

Recall, on November 24, 2016 National Council announced the warning to "Radio Vesti" (LLC "TRC"Dyvosvit", the frequency in Kyiv) for spreading information which violates the rights and interests of persons, infringes the honor and dignity, and that could harm the physical, intellectual and spiritual development of minors. In particular the warning was given because of  program "People say" with Tatiana Montian. During the program sounded insults towards participants of the Revolution of Dignity. "Radio Vesti" appealed in court the decision of the National Council.

According to outlet, in general, Kyiv "Radio Vestsi (LLC "TRC" Wonderful World ") has four penalties warnings. These warnings are valid and can be a basis for the National Council to refuse in the continuation of the license term for this station.
