Tax service asks "Ukrainian news" to provide documents for one of their export contracts

11.08.2017, 16:23
Chief editor of information agency “Ukrainian news” Dmytro Kuzmin reports that the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine expressed interest in one of the export contracts of the agency. He posted  about this in his Facebook entry, “Detector media” informs. “Friends, yesterday we received a "good luck letter" from State Fiscal Service. The tax officers are not happy with jobs accomplished under one of our export contracts. Yes, we sell news about Ukraine to western mass media and improve our trade balance, unfortunately, we are talking about very small amounts”, the media's chief editor wrote. Kuzmin said that the tax officers are interested in “old cases” of the information agencies. Dmytro Ivanesko, director of "Ukrainian news", also commented on this, mentioning that some of the requested documents are already 3.5 years old, while tax service does not have a right to request documents dating back more than 3 years. If the editorial office fails to provide all covering documents for the contracts in question within 15 days, Fiscal Service can conduct a search in the office.
