"Slidstvo.Info" journalist Vasyl Bidun joins the UAF
"Slidstvo.Info" journalist Vasyl Bidun announced that he was leaving the project because he had joined the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
"I am leaving 'Slidstvo.Info'. I remember first being given a chance to work in this team over four years ago. As an intern. It was a huge challenge for me. I had admired the team's work long before I got there. And even I could not dream that one day I would be able to become a part of it. I will not go into all the successes and failures I faced along the way here. Let them remain between me and those people who were close to me during this time. But the thing is: during all my years at 'Slidstvo' I never doubted that I was in the right place," the journalist wrote.
He noted that after February 24, the team has been focusing on investigating Russian war criminals. Since then, they have made more than a hundred reports on war-related topics.
"I considered it my professional duty to spread word about the occupiers' crimes so that an official investigation could bring them to justice in the end. What now? Now I will continue to fight against the invaders, but this time as part of the UAF. Thank you for your attention. Glory to Ukraine!" added Vasyl Bidun.
As IMI reported, Oleksiy Zakharchenko, the representative of the Institute of Mass Information in Sumy oblast, joined the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
