Siumar offers journalists to get accredited separately for each session

15.12.2017, 14:33
On December 13, head of the Parliamentary Committee on Freedom of Speech Viktoria Siumar registered in the Parliament draft binding parliamentary journalists to get accredited separately for each session. The requirement is stipulated in the draft No.7395. Currently, accreditation of mass media representatives in the Parliament was effective until the current convocation of the Parliament is in power. In addition, Siumar's draft proposes to bind all governmental agencies, including local self-government, to inform about their activities in Ukrainian only. Later, Viktoria Siumar commented her proposal in her Facebook entry: "You know how many accredited journalists are there in the Rada? over 4 thousand ... Special services report some of them do overt provocations..."
