SBU requests "Ukrainska pravda" to remove the article as in their opinion it constitutes a disclosure of state secret

14.09.2017, 17:56
The Security Service of Ukraine requests the online media outlet “Ukrainska pravda” to temporarily remove from the public domain their article about the failure of governmental program of military industry reform, as they consider that it constitutes disclosure of state secret. On September 14, the relevant letter was delivered by their officer to the chief editor of the media outlet Sevgil Musaeva, as the web-site of “Ukrainska pravda” reports. The letter informs that a pre-trial investigation is pending on criminal offence based on part 1 pf article 328 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine ("Disclosure of state secret"). The article in question was published on January 24, 2017, on the web-site “Ukrainska pravda” (“Modern weapon introduction for the army postponed again”).
