SBU detains anti-Ukrainian Internet-agitator in Chernihiv region

SBU officials detained in Pryluky (Chernihiv region) a local resident, who disseminated anti-Ukrainian materials through Russian social networks.

The law-enforcers documented that a man regularly posted in personal pages propaganda materials, calling for changing of the state border of Ukraine and popularizing “DPR/LPR” terrorist organizations. The agitator received information from supervisor from territories, temporarily occupied by militants.

During the search in malefactor’s residence the special service officials seized computer equipment with evidence of illegal activities. In the frameworks of criminal proceeding, initiated under p.1 Article 110 of the Criminal code of Ukraine, the agitator was notified of suspicion in crime committing.

The pretrial investigation is under way.
