The Russian drone attack on Kyiv oblast on the night of February 26 killed Ukrinform journalist Tetyana Kulyk, the media outlet reports.

A Russian drone hit her house in the Bucha district, causing a fire.

Tetyana Kulyk was the author and host of the project “Nation of the Invincible” and ran the Main Multimedia Office. Her program premiered in October 2024 and was a series of interviews about the strength of spirit and resilience of Ukrainians during the full-scale Russian-Ukrainian war.

Tetyana previously worked as the chief editor of various programs discussing social topics, a presenter on the Tsentralnyi Kanal (KDTRK), the World Radio Service of Ukraine, and Suspilne TV.

She graduated the National University of Culture and Arts. She started her career as a literary editor. In 2015–2017, she was the deputy director of the organization "Khreshchatyk, 26", a branch of the PJSC National Public Broadcasting Company of Ukraine "Kyiv Regional Office".

Ukrinform CEO Serhiy Cherevatyi said that Tetyana Kulyk was a wonderful journalist who produced many programs about Ukraine's struggle and its heroes.

“Just yesterday we discussed the interview with Kyrylo Budanov. She will remain in our hearts and in our memory forever. We will avenge our colleague with reporting that exposes the aggressor's war crimes. And, as Kyrylo Budanov said in the interview, all the butchers of the Ukrainian people will surely be punished,” Cherevatyi said.

According to the Institute of Mass Information, Tetyana Kulyk is the 98th media professional to die as a result of Russia's full-scale aggression.

Addition. Tetyana Kulyk died together with her husband Pavlo Ivanchov, who was a professor and head of the surgery department No. 3 of the O.O. Bohomolets National Medical University. This was reported on the University's Facebook page. The couple lived in Kryukivshchyna village, Kyiv oblast.
