The house owned by blogger, former Poltava District Council official Oleksandr Hlazov and his wife and fellow blogger Dasha Yevtukh was destroyed in a Russian drone strike on 1 April 2026, Hlazov reported in a Facebook post.

“This is all that remains of our house. Thank God everyone is alive. Take care of yourself and your loved ones!”, wrote Oleksandr Hlazov.

He shared photos of the strike aftermath in his post along with card details for those willing to support his family with a donation.

There was an explosion in Poltava at around 15:00 on 1 April 2026. The Poltava Oblast Military Administration reported on Telegram that six people had been injured, including three children aged 10, 13, and 17.

It was reported as of 17:30 that one person had been dug out from under the rubble. Five people received first aid on the site and one woman was hospitalised.
