russian hackers are attacking not only the regional services and local authorities, but also government departments and companies that provide services at the national level.

This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the State Special Communications Service Victor Zhora, according to the SSCS.

"In the cyberspace, we see that russian hackers are carrying out cyber attacks on both local and national resources. Sometimes these cyberattacks are coordinated with attacks on the ground. One example is attacks on telecom operators, which have occured in certain regions. Sometimes there is no connection between the battles and the cyberattacks," he said.

The SSCS reminded that the website of the Lviv Regional State Administration was recently subjected to a powerful DDoS attack, although now the russian army is focusing on conquering the East. The attack on the website of the Lviv Regional State Administration lasted for more than 12 hours.

As IMI reported, on April 2, the SSU reported that the largest number of russian cyberattacks on the resources of state authorities and the military office of Ukraine occurred on the night of the full-scale invasion of russia. The enemy wanted to destroy all of Ukraine's cyber defense. Thus, on the night of the invasion, cyber specialists detected and neutralized more than 120 powerful cyber attacks on state resources.

On April 7, Microsoft said it had thwarted russian military intelligence hackers' attempts to infiltrate Ukrainian, European, and American websites.
