Russia denies prosecution against journalist Sergei Loiko

Russia's Investigative Committee denies prosecution against journalist Sergei Loiko. The case appeared because of an exhibition of photos "Priamy pohliad" (Direct view), about army actions in Donbas. The journalist said on Facebook, on February 20.

 Investigator questioned Loiko last week. Dmytro Zakharov, the municipal deputy of Moscow Yakimanka District wrote an appeal. The applicant appeal to check the exhibition "Priamyi pohliad" of Sergei Loiko and Alexander Vasyukevich, in showing propaganda of "Pravy sector" (Right sector), organiation banned in Russia.

Serhiy Loiko considers questioning by the the Investigative Committee as the part of politically motivated campaign. Summons for questioning came a few days after the writer Zakhar Prilepin and journalist Anton Krasovsky criticized his book "Airport", about the war at the eastern Ukraine.
